About the Role

As an IT Support Engineer at DS Solutions, you will play a key role in maintaining and troubleshooting client systems, ensuring optimal performance of hardware and network infrastructure. Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues across client systems

  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance

  • Troubleshoot problems remotely and onsite, escalating complex issues when needed

  • Install, configure, and update hardware components and operating systems

  • Collaborate with clients to identify IT needs and recommend practical solutions

  • Document support cases, resolutions, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing

  • Work closely with colleagues in consulting and cloud teams to deliver integrated solutions

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related technical role

  • Strong knowledge of hardware, networking, and operating systems (Windows/Linux)

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

  • Experience providing client-facing technical support in fast-paced environments

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) is a plus

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (certifications like CompTIA, CCNA, or Microsoft are a plus)

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale IT environments or multiple client accounts

  • Familiarity with IT service management tools (e.g., Jira Service Desk, ServiceNow)

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and endpoint protection tools

  • Exposure to virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)

  • Hands-on experience with cloud migration or hybrid infrastructure setups

  • Certifications such as ITIL, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or Cisco CCNP
