About the Role
As an IT Support Engineer at DS Solutions, you will play a key role in maintaining and troubleshooting client systems, ensuring optimal performance of hardware and network infrastructure. Responsibilities
Provide technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues across client systems
Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance
Troubleshoot problems remotely and onsite, escalating complex issues when needed
Install, configure, and update hardware components and operating systems
Collaborate with clients to identify IT needs and recommend practical solutions
Document support cases, resolutions, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing
Work closely with colleagues in consulting and cloud teams to deliver integrated solutions
Requirements
2–4 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related technical role
Strong knowledge of hardware, networking, and operating systems (Windows/Linux)
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Experience providing client-facing technical support in fast-paced environments
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) is a plus
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (certifications like CompTIA, CCNA, or Microsoft are a plus)
Nice to Have
Experience supporting enterprise-scale IT environments or multiple client accounts
Familiarity with IT service management tools (e.g., Jira Service Desk, ServiceNow)
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and endpoint protection tools
Exposure to virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
Hands-on experience with cloud migration or hybrid infrastructure setups
Certifications such as ITIL, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or Cisco CCNP
