About the Role
As a Cloud Solutions Consultant at DS Solutions, you will guide clients through the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud-based infrastructures. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy problem-solving, client collaboration, and leveraging cloud technologies to create scalable, secure, and efficient IT environments.
Responsibilities
Lead client consultations to assess cloud readiness and infrastructure needs
Design and implement tailored cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Migrate existing applications and data securely to cloud environments
Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver hybrid IT solutions (on-premise + cloud)
Provide training and support to client teams on cloud adoption best practices
Stay updated on emerging cloud trends and recommend innovative approaches
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in cloud consulting, cloud engineering, or IT infrastructure
Strong knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud (multi-cloud expertise is a plus)
Solid understanding of networking, virtualization, and security concepts
Experience with cloud migration and deployment strategies
Strong communication skills for client-facing engagements
Familiarity with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator are a plus)
Nice to Have
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with compliance standards (GDPR, ISO27001)
Previous consulting experience across multiple industries
Hands-on experience with cloud monitoring and cost optimization tools
